My career started after graduating with a 2:1 from the University of Leeds having read French. Helped by a year abroad in Paris, working as an Assistant Editor of a French news agency, I came away fluent in the language.
Upon graduation, I spent a few months temporarily working for a world-renowned international lifestyle concierge company. Largely this work was centered around providing 5* customer service, organising events and managing several large-scale projects.
Whilst looking for a job through a leading global recruitment firm, the Managing Director asked me to join their team to account manage some of their most prestigious clients and develop business relationships on a global scale. I progressed quickly, and within three years, was heading up the largest division in the company. This meant I was managing a team of 10 and was the main decision maker on all key client accounts, whilst also personally bringing in revenue of between £20-30,000 per month. Therefore, I feel confident I have broken the mould of being a stereotypical recruiter as my achievements highlight that I am well suited to this position.
Throughout my career to date, I have demonstrated a great ability to learn quickly, multitask, get on with people at all levels as well as excel in exceed targets and manage top client accounts. Some key achievements to date include:
– Winning and developing business with a leading international private equity company and a multinational professional services company.
– In my first year as a billing Consultant, I exceeded my target of £144,000 by £50,000, and was promoted to Senior Consultant in record timing.
– In 2019, I was in the top five biggest billers (out of 40 Consultants) and exceeded my target by £83,000.
– In 2020, with my whole team furloughed I was the only consultant to be kept working during the pandemic and
although times were tough, I hit my target of £180,000.
